This release includes some financial features that give you more control over your event registration. Some of the key highlights of this release:
- Refund enhancements - Refunding a single registration for one of multiple attendees on an order
- Pending registrations - Reserve an attendee's spot even though they have not completely paid
- New account balance - Properly track how much is owed to my customers
- Explore events branding and redesign - Customize your branding to make your explore page stand out.
Financials
Refund enhancements
Based on your feedback, we understand that customers may want to refund a single attendee when their register multiple attendees at the same time. We now allow you to choose which items that you wish to update. Each item type will do the following:
- Registrations - All selected registrations will be marked as returned
- Memberships - All selected memberships will be canceled immediately
- Session Credits - All selected session packages will be marked as void

Pending registrations
We understand that you may want to reserve a spot for an attendee before you receive payment. To avoid juggling the logistics we've added a way for you to reserve a spot with the manual registration flow. Registration statuses have been updated to reflect the changes:
- Started - Starting status for all registrations — you can still edit the registration at this point. Their spot will not be reserved.
- Reserved - This registration can still be edited and is pending payment. Their spot will be reserved.
- Placed - This registration was paid for with an associated order or a session credit. Their spot will be reserved.

Explore events branding
In your Branding settings, you can now select a background image and add custom overlay to match your branding needs. The previews will allow you try certain designs without publishing them.

We are always actively looking to improve our flows and make things easier for you and your customers. We've not only updated to support more branding customization, but also updated how your events are filtered and viewed by your customers.

New account balance
To support account credit, we have start the steps to track and adjust your customer's account balance with your organization. As of today we only support credit and do not allow you to debit your customers. Soon your customers will be able to pay and be refunded to customers credit.
