August 10, 2026

This release adds event waitlists, a public API with key management, and deeper storefront branding control, along with a set of improvements that make building and managing events faster.

  • Event waitlists with first-come and staff-selected offers
  • Citrus API keys, including read-only access and public documentation
  • Advanced storefront color customization
  • Reorder, search, and color-tag your quick filters
  • Spots available now broken down per registration option

Event Waitlists

When an event sells out, participants no longer have to keep checking back. They can now join a waitlist, and when a spot opens up they're offered the chance to claim it.

You control how offers go out: first-come-first-served, where the next person in line gets a time-limited window to register, or staff-selected, where you choose who to offer the spot to. You can also broadcast an opening to everyone on the list at once.

Citrus API Keys

Programs can now generate API keys to connect Citrus to their own tools and integrations. Keys can be issued with full access or restricted to read-only, so you can share data with a reporting tool or partner without granting the ability to make changes.

Keys are created and revoked from the new Manage API Keys page in your settings, which now links directly to our public API documentation.

Advanced Storefront Color Customization

Storefront branding goes further than a single accent color. You can now customize your storefront's color palette in detail to match your organization's brand, and your program icon is now used as the browser favicon on your storefront pages.

Storefront branding also loads faster, removing an extra network request that previously delayed how quickly your colors appeared.

Better Quick Filters

Quick filters can now be reordered by dragging, searched when you have a long list, and tagged with colors so the ones you use most are easy to spot.

Faster Event Setup

A few changes make building events quicker. Recently used venues can now be reused instead of re-entered, the duplicate-event wizard exposes the full set of registration option controls so you can adjust pricing and availability while duplicating, and duplicated options now start their sale window sensibly rather than in the past.

Clearer Availability and Sorting

Storefront listings now break down spots available per registration option, so participants can see exactly which option still has room rather than a single number for the whole event. Registrations on event and appointment dashboards can also now be sorted.

Additional Improvements

This release also includes several other enhancements and fixes:

  • Resending an email verification code now confirms it was sent and rate-limits repeat attempts.
  • Email change limits now surface a clear error instead of failing silently.
  • Fixed custom date ranges shifting by a day across timezones in dashboard reporting.
  • Package names are no longer truncated on storefronts, and package grids no longer stretch to fill empty columns.
  • Tightened spacing and layout in the email reply form.
  • Fixed a rare timing issue when sending a contact invite while the contact was still being created.
  • Various stability improvements and bug fixes throughout the platform.
